Talent Update: Indigovox

Originally from Miami, Florida... Raquel Beatrice Pupo AKA Indigovox... is a self-produced solo female electronic music composer and performer. She now resides in Atlanta, GA and is a part of the live electronic music movement.

Indigovox's appeal resides primarily in her very danceable, catchy melodic synthpop songs, which stay stuck in the listener's head. Her influences range from: Berlin, Erasure, Freezepop, Madonna, Blondie, Depeche Mode, Giorgio Moroder, New Order, and The Pet Shop Boys.

Indigovox has shared the stage with amazing bands like Freezepop, Fischerspooner,Shiny Toy Guns, Avenue D, Joy Electric, TheSTART, Nemesis Rising and other local bands from the neighborhood.

Currently at the moment...Indigovox is working on a new 2010 solo project album. Something new and experimental would be the best way to describe it.

Talent Update: Courtney Lee Designs

Showcasing style via a necklace or a bracelet, Courtney Lee Designs, is bringing some unique accessories to Gainesville Fashion Week.

Courtney Kline is an emerging artist in the Gainesville Area. She started her creative attempts as a jewelry  artisan when she wanted to make a necklace to match an outfit she was wearing. When several people, whom she didn't know, started a bidding war on the necklace, she began thinking that she may have a talent for jewelry design. It took her several years to turn her hobby into Courtney Lee Designs, but since its debut in 2009 there has been a flourishing following.

"We've already begun to expand our inventory to include accessories and fashion items," Courtney said.

While Courtney's designs are without a genre, she is greatly influenced by  her growing up in Florida. Some of her collections are inspired by the Florida Gators and the beach.

Courtney's passion continues to evolve as she strives to bring her timeless and contemporary pieces of jewelery to larger markets.

To purchase or take a gander at some of her pieces check her out on: courtneyleedesigns.etsy.com.
